The evolution of Industry 4.0 has increased the need to monitor the operation of all machines in real time. Therefore, besides the automatic lines, the evolution of this technology should not be left out, extending it to semi-automatic machines.
In order to enable all users to have full control over the pallet wrapping machines, their location on the factory floor and the type of work performed, including any downtimes and errors, a Datalogger system has been created.
No special configuration is required, apart from an internet connection, via the connection to the Ethernet port installed on the control panel. The machine's operating data is automatically transmitted from the machine to a secure cloud. In the event of a connection problem, the machine is able to accumulate data in the internal memory, which is emptied every time the connection to the server is restored.
The result is the loading of the database containing all the information relating to the operation of the machines, accessible via the web without the need to install any software.
The system has different levels of hierarchical access, changing the way it displays data, as well as the amount of information, depending on the user's login.
As this is an end-of-line equipment, it allows for simultaneous monitoring and efficiency of the department and the operators' performance.
Information provided:
The system allows the export of all information for spreadsheets, useful for internal statistics. It can be easily integrated into production management software or a logistical system, with the advantages resulting from it.
It also allows the filtering of the database, as well as the export of accumulated data to spreadsheets.
